To answer the question in full, You have to understand the South African Qualification Authority's intention of Accreditation.

Accreditation is the certification process for a certain Qualification and/or a specified period of time of a body or an institution, as having the capacity to fulfill a particular function within the quality assurance system set up by SAQA in terms of the SAQA Act, 1995

Private providers generally offer three main types of qualifications, namely;

  • National Qualifications (Qualifications registered on the NQF or relevan Body)
  • Provider Programmes (Their own programmes which are non-formal)
  • Agent Qualifications (Qualifications offered on behalf of a foreign awarding body)

What Courses does MSTA Have?

MSTA Provides courses from 2 Catagories namely,

What Accreditation does MSTA Have?

MSTA is accredited by,

  • (HWSETA) Health and Welfare SETA
  • (DOL) Department of Labour for First Aid under GSR Section 3(4)(d)
  • (ETDPSETA) Education, Training and Development Practices SETA
  • SAQCC-Fire for the reconditioning of fire equipment training
  • SABS for SANS 1475 (Part 1 and 2) for the reconditioning of fire fighting equipment
